Insurance Analytics Dashboard
UI/UX | Wireframing | Prototyping
A national insurance company brought our team on to help build new internal tools for their independent agents. The two major tools that we assisted with were their campaign request & analytics and independent agent sites. The tools had to be integrated into their current environment, allowing the data to be maintained by the national headquarters and accessible to the satellite offices. Both tools would allow the agents to use the suggested best practices of the firm while still adding their personal touch to their custom agent sites.
Campaign Management Tool
The Campaign & Budget tool would allow agents to request marketing campaign products according to their scope and financial needs. Campaign analytics could be viewed according to their distribution channels like display ads, social media, and email. Each channel would have its own metrics including budget spend, impressions, clickthrough rates, and policies sold allowing agents to see the effectiveness and return for their campaigns.
The client wanted this information to be easily accessible and readable by their agents, reducing confusion and fostering more efficient/productive campaign strategies.
Agents also mentioned wanting to be able to control specific facets of any campaign request including spend, duration, and location. This would allow agents to be targeted in their strategy to their specific circumstance.
Agent Site Creation & Editing Tool
The second tool that we helped to develop was the agent site creation & editor. This tool allowed agents to request a site to be created for them, and allow them to make changes or personalize their site depending on their specific location, qualifications, or specialties. The site editing tool was housed within AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) keeping the process as simple as possible for agents.
Agent Site Creation
From the agents profile within the parent company, they would have a tab that would allow them to create or manage their personalized site. The home tab would allow them to access their site analytics or prompt them to create a site if they didn’t have one. The tab would also display other agents in their network/location to see their sites for comparison.
Their analytics page would give them basic site metrics like total visits, conversions, pages per session and average time on page. From this information, agents could tailor their site to improve these metrics and compare them MoM or YoY.
Agent Site Management
These screens were developed as a usable prototype preview of how users would utilize AEM to manage their personal sites. This particular flow illustrates how a user could move from their analytics dashboard to their site editor, make changes to their central layout container, and then preview their changes within AEM. All of the screens within the agent site were prototyped to be navigable for leadership to have hands on experience of the future state of the product.
